For Easter 2026, we once again shunted the carriages, stocked up the buffet car and scheduled a playlist to accompany you on your 2 hour nostalgic trip through time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Pulling away from the platform its hold tight and full steam ahead, with music from The Shakers, The Younghearts, The Incredibles, Sam Dees, The Spinners, a few surprises, many old favourites and a distinct mix of anticipation and excitement.

\n There’s also a couple of ‘Soulful 3s’, specially selected by Helen Rose from Dovercourt and Russ Whitehouse from Uttoxeter, listen out for songs from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Supremes, Luther Ingram, The Shepards, Johnny Sayle and The Superlatives. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

The return journey, and hour 2 commences with delights from Tommy Hunt, Danny Moore, The Four Tops, Chairmen of the Board and The Pointer Sisters, something very special by Alfie Davidson for Chris & Linda in Longton and a 'Double Play' by American soul singer and songwriter, who had a prolific career from the mid-1950s to the late 1970s.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
