    The Over 55's Tuesday Mixer Club, a vibrant and inclusive community group based at The White Eagle Club Riverway in Stafford. Our club has been fostering social interaction and combating isolation among individuals over the age of 55 since May 2015 and we are dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where individuals from all walks of life can come together to connect, learn, and have fun.

    The weekly gatherings offer a diverse range of activities aimed at promoting social engagement and mental well-being. Participants whether single or in couples are encouraged to mingle and interact during our gatherings, which typically involve half an hour of socialising followed by engaging presentations from guest speakers on various topics of interest, quiz, bingo sessions and raffles

    The speakers range from first aiders to bakers, belly dancers to therapists, signers to esteemed community figures like the Mayor.
    In addition to our regular programming, we organise special celebrations for significant dates throughout the year, such as St Georges Day, St. Patrick's Day, Wimbledon and annual Christmas Party.

    They operate on a not-for-profit basis and rely on a nominal £1 admission fee, which grants attendees unlimited access to tea, coffee, juice, cakes, and biscuits. This fee also helps fund various celebrations and events throughout the year.

    One of thier initiatives is our "Mixer Buddy Programme," wherein attendees are paired up with a "buddy" to facilitate their integration into the club and ensure they feel supported and included. This program has proven to be instrumental in fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our members it ensures that newcomers feel welcomed and supported from their very first visit.
