Appeal for information

    Three people have been taken to hospital following a collision with marked police car responding to a 999 call in Stafford. 


    It happened at 8.45pm on Friday 9 May 2025 on Corporation Street, Stafford, at the junction with Crooked Bridge Road.

    Officers came into collision with a Volvo and the Volvo with a Nissan Micra.

    The driver of the Volvo, a man, the only one inside the car, was taken to hospital by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service with a head injury. 

    The driver and passenger of the Nissan, a man and a woman, were also taken to hospital.

    The police officers did not require hospital treatment.
