The very first Stafford Pride Festival has been given the go ahead to host a Parade through the streets of the town.
The celebratory event is set to take place this summer with a variety of live music and entertainment on the main stage in Victoria Park.
The organisers are aiming to 'fill the streets of Stafford with love, pride, and solidarity', and have now been told that they can also hold a Parade through Stafford town centre after receiving the green light from Council officials.

The festival will take place on Saturday 10th August and Stafford Pride Festival Directors are now encouraging local businesses, community organisations and charitable groups to book a float at the Parade.
Anyone wishing to take part can place an application with the Pride Festival here
Applications close on 31st March 2024.
