
Three staff members at a Stafford home have been recognised for their services, combining to 55 years.
Debbie Roobottom (30 years), Bruce Eastwood (20 years) and Judy Wright (5 years) all work at MHA Weston and Queensway House
The trio were presented with their long service awards by the management team at the home.
MHA Weston and Queensway House provide dementia nursing care for 70 residents.
Debbie, who works as a housekeeper says it feels “surreal” to be here after 30 years but is very happy she chose to work here.
She added: “ I didn't think I would be here for 30 years when I joined but I really enjoy working at MHA Weston and Queensway House.
“I found out about the role from a friend of mine who worked here at the time, and the rest is history.
“It was nice to receive my certificate and a voucher and for me it's definitely the staff and residents that have kept me here this long.”
Bruce, who works as a catering manager added: “Working with a fantastic team has kept me going for the last 20 years.
“For anyone thinking of joining MHA Weston and Queensway House I would recommend it 100%.
“It’s a great home, one where you are always supported, so just go for it.”
Judy, kitchen assistant said: “I feel proud to be here after five years.
“I saw the job on Indeed and went for it, the team support in the kitchen is amazing and for me MHA is a good organisation to work for.”
