Hundreds gathered in Stafford across the Easter weekend to see the story of Jesus Christ played out.
Hundreds flocked into Stafford to watch the poignant street play depicting the true meaning of Easter.
The Passion Play was performed by Dudley's Saltmine Theatre Company at various locations around town on Good Friday - with the finale taking place on Easter Sunday depicting the resurrection as per the Bible.
Performances in Victoria Park and Tenterbanks took place with crowds following the procession as the story unfolded.
The trial scene played out on the steps at Stafford's county court building, followed by Jesus carrying his cross to St.Mary's where crowds gathered to witness the drama of the crucifixion. The Passion Play finished with the resurrection on Easter Day at St.Mary's Collegiate Chuch, in St.Mary's.
Over 100 volunteers including actors, singers and stewards from the churches in the area were on hand to ensure the performance went smoothly.
