Sessions to learn more about being a county councillor

Two sessions will be held in Stafford next week to find out more about becoming a county councillor.

With elections coming up on 1 May next year, Staffordshire County Council are hosting two open days for anyone thinking of running.

The sessions will take place on Monday at the County Buildings in Stafford.

You can pick from two sessions: either 12pm to 2pm or 6pm to 8pm.

At the event, you'll get a feel for what the role involves, how the council operates, and the support available if you decide to stand and get elected.
