Staffordshire County Council has confirmed a new £8.7m research and archive facility will open in a few weeks.
Staffordshire History Centre in Stafford will open on 6 November.
The new centre houses some fascinating historical artefacts and exhibitions, a brand-new research room and learning spaces.
The new centre was part-funded by a grant of £4.8m from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
