Staffordshire Ironman axed

    The hugely popular Ironman 70.3 Staffordshire to leave town.


    Organisers of the annual Ironman event in Stafford have announced that next year's event will not take place in Staffordshire. Ironman UK have taken the decision to pull the elite event which sees hundreds of athletes head into the county town over the Ironman weekend.

    The changes will see Ironman UK, typically held in Bolton, now become Ironman 70.3 Bolton from 2024.
