An appeal has been launched to find relatives of a Staffordshire Second World War hero, Lance Sergeant John Baskeyfield.

With the Early May Bank Holiday on Monday 5 May fast approaching and warm and sunny weather on the cards, the NHS in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is encouraging local residents to plan ahead, take simple steps to stay safe, stock up, and make the most of the break.

A variety of venues will become polling stations to give residents across Stafford Borough the chance to cast votes in elections next week.
